I listened in the middle of the night on AFN radio and then spent the rest of the night getting as drunk as I could. I later learned that this was her classes song for her. Christie. So I can't listen without crying.

I was living in Finland the mid 70’s. Access to music was limited for me. I looked forward to going to the railroad station and buying the latest New Musical Express. I remember these guys were everywhere. I was from California. Maybe 22 years old and out traveling. Years later this song comes along and many years later I learn about the song, Brian, and think life goes full circle some time. And of course it’s a beautiful song. If you’ve ever played music putting it out there like that isn’t easy. Baring your sole. Brian really sticks his neck out it seems to me. The group really. Good stuff.
